Planning consent has just been granted by Chichester District Council for a rear extension to an existing property in Fittleworth. The property, which is the original Fittleworth school house dating from the early 1800’s. is a non-designated heritage asset. The intention is to renovate the property throughout, restore the original joinery and replace an existing uPVC extension with one of timber joinery and brickwork. The proposal will improve the plan layout on both floors, allow for more natural light to enter the house and an improved relationship with the garden.
