Tortington Priory Barn

The Tortington Priory Barn project was the restoration and conversion of the remains of the 12th Century Augustinian Priory into a private dwelling. The converted Victorian barn was subsequently extended with a new library wing and sunken courtyard. Access from the original dwelling was achieved via an internal bridge with a glass floor which was designed to maintain intact stone work supporting the Augustinian porch.
